Great portraits are shaped as much by the environment as they are by the subject itself. Join Vuhlandes (@vuhlandes) for a live demonstration exploring his approach to environmental portraiture, where location, light, texture, and atmosphere all work together to tell a more complete story. Participants will learn how he scouts spaces, works with natural and available light on film, and directs subjects in a way that feels natural within their surroundings rather than overly staged.

The workshop will begin at Photodom before moving into the neighborhood for a guided walk and live shooting demonstration, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Hosted in collaboration with CineStill.
